About NEV Owner Guide
Who runs this site
Hi, I'm Xin. I live in Beijing, I'm a parent, and I drive an electric car. I build small, practical web tools in my spare time. I'm not an engineer at a car company or a qualified energy adviser, and this site doesn't claim to be either. It's a careful owner's attempt to make the numbers clearer.
Why it exists
Chinese-brand EVs are now sold in large numbers in Australia, the UK, Europe and Southeast Asia. Owners there often ask the same questions: What does it really cost to charge? Is fast charging worth it? Should I charge to 100%? Why did my range drop this winter?
Many answers online are vague, out of date, or written for a different country. NEV Owner Guide tries to do better: a calculator you can feed your own prices into, and short guides that say where every number comes from and when it was checked.
How we use AI
- Drafts are AI-assisted. We use AI tools to help research, draft and structure articles and data files.
- A human reviews every page before it's published. Each article is read and fact-checked against its sources by a person. Prices and specifications are checked against the original page and dated.
- Sources are linked. We prefer primary sources: regulators, government statistics, manufacturer manuals and spec sheets, and published studies. Each article ends with a source list.
- We correct errors. Prices change and mistakes happen. If you spot something wrong or out of date, please email contact@xinlab.ccwu.cc. We'll fix it and update the "updated" date.
Independence
This site isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any car maker, energy company or charging network. Brand and model names are used only to describe products factually. If we ever use affiliate links or ads, they'll be disclosed (see our privacy policy) and won't change what we write.
Not advice
Content here is general information, not financial, legal or technical advice. For anything specific to your car, such as warranty, battery care or charging settings, your owner's manual and dealer come first.
